Hello

I used wm.tn.dictionary:addFieldGroup and gave a group name, but I did not see the group in profile in TN console.

My question is what is application use of adding a extended group and adding extended fields in it. How can we benefit from it.

Vinod,

Extended fields can be used to store partner-specific information (variables, cross-referencing, etc.) for which there is no appropriate place elsewhere. The info is retrieved via wn.tn.profile:getExtendedFields.

wM EDI, for example, uses the EDIINT group type to store URL info for trading parters.

Basically you can use Groupname Custom that exists in TNConsole/Partners ExtendedFields section.Will that doesnt help??
