It would be helpful to the wmusers community if posters always posted a final status of their issue, even if they solved it themselves. A large number posting threads appear to end with unsolved questions/problems, where in reality the problem got fixed but the submitter neglected to close the loop.

Often, multiple users experience an old issue, and they could benefit from the experience of prior users.

What I have found is that not only is posting the final solution helpful to others, it is also helpful to me as I move from project to project in my consulting business. I regularly use wMUsers as kind of a living knowledgebase and search it for things that I (or others) solved weeks or months (sometimes even years) before.

Postsing your solutions increases the value of the knowledgebase tremendously.
