I am interested in bulk copying of X-Registry meta-data (organizations, users, policies, taxonomies, etc) and X-Registry data (services) from one instance of X-Registry 6.6 to another.

I am not interested in migrating data from X-Registry 6.2 to 6.6, as described in the X-Registry Installation manual.

Is the "product-config" script the way to go? If so, could someone give me some tips for setting up the "registry.properties" file?

I tried the "product-config export-registry" command, but got a java error (code 1)

Numerous xml files were copied to the following folder on the target system:
Z:\infravio\win_jboss_hsql\X-Registry\registry\migration\data\xmls

No files were populated in the following target folder:
Z:\infravio\win_jboss_hsql\X-Registry\registry\migration\data\repository

The following relevant properties were set in the registry.properties file:
infravio.bulkexport.target.host.name=20.4.52.156
infravio.bulkexport.target.host.port=2020

Your best bet on this might be either a) ask your WM regional sales manager (RSM) or systems engineer (SE) to submit your question to the internal "infravio swat" or "x-registry swat" email lists or b) register on the SOAMasterClass web site and submit your question using the "Ask a Master" process.

I don't expect that WM Support would be up to speed on Infravio yet nor that your installation / migration how-to question would get much attention, at least given my recent experience (Aug 2007).
