Environment: CentraSiteGE 7.1 SP1 with the default settings

I created a webService Asset, defined a Run-Time policy for the asset and then created a Contract against the Run-Time policy.
As I understand it, CentraSite treats the Contract as a webService Asset and hence the Contract has to go through the Certification process. When I submit the Contract for Certification, I see a pop-up window that says "Session expired. Please click here to relogin". The browser window just freezes and I have to open another browser window to relogin to CentraSite.
Has anybody seen this before?
