TIP Using the webMethods Software Download Site

I just found this out the hard way --

I block cookies from my browser but specifically allow "webmethods.com" so that I can use webMethods Advantage. The URL of the software download site navigable via Advantage, however, is not at "webmethods.com" but instead on "b2b.com".

If you are like me and block cookies, be sure to open up for "b2b.com" in order to download your software.

Like I said, I learned this one the hard way and the good folks at webMethods are already working to make its customers more aware of this potential issue.

Rumor has it that wM is working on providing eval downloads (maybe they already do) but AFAIK, they do not and never have provided free software/docs to the general public. You need to get in touch with a sales rep.

I heard the same thing -- time frame of end of July was mentioned. Supposed to have a Web services focus. Anyone know any details?

But to download it your company has to register with those
