Kumar, I will try to summarize the newest features of Enterprise Server 5.0. I am assuming that is what you meant by "webmethods eai5.0". Also, I moved this topic to a new thread because it was not relevant to the thread you originally posted to.
1) New Data Store -- The Enterprise Server has been replaced by a version that is more scalable. For example, the previous versions could accomodate a single storage file fo 256 MB; the new version handles up to 62 storage files, each with a maximum size of 32 GB.
2) Broader Support for Large Guaranteed Documents -- In the new version, guaranteed documents can be published with a size up to 2 GB.
3) Web-Management Tools -- The Web-based Enterprise Web Manager compliments the existing Server Manager and can be used to monitor and manage a webMethods Enterprise Server deployment. The Enteprise Web Manager provides both high-level and detailed views and statistics of your networks.
4) Client Queue Administration -- The Java and C APIs have been expanded. The new APIs allow manipulation of the client queues including locking client queues and viewing/copying/deleting/filtering queued documents without interrupting the Broker's operation.
5) Implementation of a JMS Provider -- The Enterprise Server 5.0 Broker can act as a JMS Provider because the new version contains a JMS API.
6) Transaction Support -- The Java and C APIs include new facilities to allow publishing, retrieving, and acknowledging documents as part of a single transaction that can be committed or rolled-back.
7) Logging -- Documents can be logged directly to the Broker data store rather than published to an external database. Because this feature is embedded in the Java and C APIs, only clients building custom Broker clients can use it. webMethods' existing adapters do not take advantage of this feature.
8) Re-branding -- This is not a feature, but just something to be aware of. There are 41 rebranded/renamed terms.
