WMmonitor ExceptionThere is no matching remote server alias for myservernameport

Hi
When I tried to resubmit a service from the , it appears to me the following error:

Error in resubmission of service: com.wm.monitor.util.MonitorException: There is no matching remote server alias for myservername:port.

To solve it, We have already tried the following:
1. Create a new server alias with the myservername:port
2. Create a new server alias with the machine name and domain

Unfortunately, it is showing the same error. Does anybody have experienced the same problem or can suggest us any ideas for finding which problem we have.

Hi Gonzalo,

While adding the remote server alias in the host name field give the

ip adress of the machine and ensure that user name which your are using

to connect has administrator privileges.

Hi Raghu:

Thank for your help.When I created the Remote Server alias in the Integration Server, I add the IP Address and Port Number in the fields under the HostName;however it is still not working. In addition, we add it to the Host file.I am sure that we are missing something.Do you know if there is any other place where we have to define the Remote Server Alias apart from the Integration Server Administrator settings?.

I got the same error today
(Error in resubmission of service: com.wm.monitor.util.MonitorException: There is no matching remote server alias)

I tried inserting the hostname instead of the ipaddress and the resubmit
functionality worked.

What Service packs are applied for your IS?

the username which you are using should have admin privileges.

Let me know if this worked.
