Configuring WmMainframe 601

All,

I am running into the following error when creating an HostPool for IMS Connect. Validation failed "Connection to the webMethods Mainframe server failed, name=localhost"

I have installed IS and the Mainframe adapter on the same server. I create a configuration before creating the HostPool and successfully uploaded it to the wM Mainframe server.
All subsequent tries to upload to the wM Mainframe had the same HostPool error stated above.

Did I miss a configuration in the HostPool?

Did you start the mainframe server? It's a separate process on the machine. If you're running Windows then it's probably an NT service that needs to be running. You can check the installation docs on exactly how to start the server on a different OS or if it isn't installed as a service on Windows.
