Webmethods 61 Installation Error

HI,

I am trying to install the design tools (Developer 6.1, Modeler 6.1, Workflow 6.1 and TN Console 6.1) only on my system using the Installation image created from the advantage site.

But I get the following error

Even when I try to install the developer alone i get the similar error.

This occurs in the installation process at Writing Registry Entries.


Actually there is an installation of this components already on my system. But they give some strange errors... I searched in the site and It was said may be due to bad installation image. So i tried to install again..(In different directory and under different start group name )..

My OS is: Windows XP Professional and I am using the appropriate Installer.

When I did the installation of only developer even though it gave the similar error , when i actually use it there isn't any problem (Morever the strange errors which i use to get earlier disappeared).

This time I want to make sure why this is occuring.
Any one having an idea about this problem?

Hi Kumar,

please check the user under which you login to XP if it has local admin rights or not.
These rights are needed to access the registry.
