Hi Experts,

I need some light on my question from all Experts and Friends, which could be simple but for me it is very big.
I want to configure file I/O Adaptor, how could I do that according to document which I have, it says that I can Install only on WINNT 4.0, I have installed webMethods on my desktop PC, Which has winXp 2003 installed. How can I do this?

And if I can where can I get the software and key, which document is mentioning.

Our company is has the original which are CD’s shipped by webMethods. can I find in that.
Please help me in this too.

Rizwan

Hi Rizwan i beleive you are using WM 6.0.1 .The FlatFile Adapter concept used in the IntegrationServer starting from 6.X verion and this will be installed as WmFlatFile Package . If you are asking about EnterpriseServer4.6 then the adapter is called File I/O Adapter, you have to purchase this as separate component from webMethods.

you can download the evaluation copy from this site,

http://Advantage.webmethods.com
IMPORTANT--In order to download software, you must be one of your company's officially designated contacts

Hi Leon,
Thanks for your Reply, Exactly i have WebMethod 6.1 and i can see wmFlatFile Package under Packages -> Management form. But i could not able to see File Adaptor under Adapters Section under navigational panel of Integration Server. How should i create a file adaptor.

Like JDBC ADAPTER CONNECTION , i too need to creat file adaptor. and i am using webmethods 6.1. Please show a way, how should i can do it.

Thanks in advance
Rizwan

Hi Leon,
I got the answer , what u said, Means we need not have to create any FlatFile Adaptor, it is already created as wmFlatFile Package.

Thanks Leon,
Rizwan
