Ceridian is seeking a webMethods Architect to help lead the effort to optimize and integrate the organization’s BPM processes. Job Responsibilities : - Collects best practices, reviews organization’s processes, identifying services needed for processes and business rules.
- Prioritize new services, monitor and publish results, and recommend refinements and improvements to existing services.
- Participate in a BPM Governance Center of Excellence, including governance policies.
- Drive BPM optimization through the use of tool analytics for continued process improvements.
- Ensure that all enterprise and CTS BPM strategic initiatives are met, while maintaining and insuring adherence to governance policies.
- Ensure process standards, processes, and business rules, are done to promote agility and reuse.
- Lead the effort to optimize the organization’s BPM reuse activities and processes through clear understanding and cross training of the Ceridian and CTS Repository and reuse capabilities. Monitor and report metrics of reuse on existing asset(s).
- Insure processes, services business rules, and the repository, are aligned with best practices and Ceridian standards with respect to performance and governance.
- Build relationships with cross functional teams, leveraging communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Recognize interdependencies and relationships that foster value creation across our business, and across the enterprise.
- Work closely with Development and IT in the design, creation, testing and implementation of services and integration components that support the business processing.
- Minimum travel required.
Qualifications: - Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field of study, (or equivalent level of education and experience.)
- Must have 5 years of experience in integration and/or Business Process Modeling integration to back office applications, both homegrown and packages.
- Must have strong experience with one or more of the following: Service Oriented Architecture - SOA, Enterprise Service Bus - ESB, Enterprise Application Integration tools such as; webMethods (Preferred), TIBCO, BEA AquaLogic, WebLogic, Lombardi Teamworks, Oracle Fusion, etc
- Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycles. Ability to build services and integration components using the BPM tool structure a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Negotiation skills required. Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to engage and lead a complex process architecture planning/design meeting.
- Business Process Automation (5 years with BPMS tools.) Technical expertise in process modeling and integration. Hands on experience with a leading industry BPM Suites.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
- Act with honesty, integrity, customer driven, performance excellence, and results oriented attitude.
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the business and technology, including customer focus group participation.
- Provide leadership to Process Modelers, and Developers as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with repeatable, reliable results.
- Challenge existing processes for continuous process improvement results.
- Self disciplined and focused with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Experienced in working under tight deadlines, with the highest of quality results.
